Meet the team

Seán joined Adesco in 2017 from his previous Engineering role at Mott MacDonald. He holds a Masters in Civil Engineering, with a focus on renewable energy technologies and a primary degree in Structural Engineering. Seán brings a wealth of knowledge in Application Technologies, Engineering and Sustainable Energy practices to Adesco’s clients.

John manages Adesco’s nutritional product portfolio, and leads the company’s nutritional research programmes and animal performance trials. John has over 25 years of experience in the agri-food industry and has qualifications in agricultural science, food science, and innovation and entrepreneurship. John is an active committee member of The Irish Piedmontese Society, and has his own Piedmontese herd.

Fiona joined Adesco in 2016 having previously worked in the pharmaceutical industry and 15 years in an accountancy practice. Fiona has valuable experience in finance which she brings to her role of the day to day running of the Adesco office and our customers’ needs including processing their orders, logistics and accounts management.

Having carved a career as master glasscutter with Waterford Crystal, Michael’s attention to detail and eye for accuracy shines as Adesco’s customer services laboratory manager. Here, he provides support for our customers and programmes while all the time building the database of information that we use to make informed decisions

Steve works with Adesco as our dedicated engineer providing nationwide installation, service and calibration support free of charge for all Adesco customers who are part of the Adesco Grain Management Programme and SmartMilling Programme.

Shane completed a PhD in sustainable pig nutrition at UCD with Adesco’s support and has worked closely with the team for over four years. As Technical Lead, he brings strong technical expertise and industry knowledge to support clients and enhance Adesco’s services. He is also an active member of the Tullow Agricultural Show and the Irish Shows Association.
